Educational Products
The natural expansion of the computerization of digital piano technology was to provide educational and interactive resources to expand the support and performance capabilities of the player. These resources have been redesigned and utilized to stimulate greater interest and creativity in the musical experience and understanding of even the youngest players. Today, even beginning students are able to experience ear training by playing games that teach how to distinguish random notes, intervals, chords and rhythm patterns that historically was curriculum reserved for college level courses. Following are just a few of the interactive features that make digital piano technology such a powerful educational tool.
Interactive Learning
The Visual Lesson feature acts as your personal interactive music tutor. You can enjoy practicing with song data and accompaniment with tempo control available for the student to adjust. Notation appears on the score display marking deviations from the music notes and rhythm and indicates how well you have performed. Metronome and rhythm partners are available to emphasize learning new rhythm patterns. You can select the lesson level as well as the actual practice songs to match your current abilities.
DigiScore
DigiScore displays the notation of various commercially available songs and songs you have recorded of your own performances. A bouncing ball will show the note(s) to be played at the chosen tempo selection. If you touch a note on the screen, the sound of the note is played to confirm which note you should actually be playing.
You can easily record a song and after recording, the music score that was performed is displayed on the screen. This music file can be exported and the score printed on your computer printer. The edit function lets you add optional finger numbering into the notation, or edit any note in the music file while looking at the music.
Music Assistant
Automatic Accompaniment. This is a function that lets you add accompaniment using a variety of instrument sounds and percussion while you simply play chords. Presets allow you to change accompaniment styles and right hand tones. A visual screen assists you in easily making these selections.
Piano Designer
You can create your own piano tones and hear how your changes sound by using the Piano Designer. You can then save the settings so that your selection is available each time you play the piano. Features such as hammer response, key touch, resonance, equalization of tonal qualities, and stretch tuning.

This harmony is so well defined that you can even play chromatically and the harmony structure will be perfect for the chord and key you are playing. This harmony is even available to voice effects through the microphone interface.
Varied Orchestral Instrument Sounds
All instruments can produce various tonal textures and when selecting an instrument tone to add to your ensemble or create a solo voice, you can audition the variety of sounds available from a single instrument selecting the appropriate quality you desire.
Digital Sequencer Recording
Sixteen track sequence recording capability allows the user unlimited flexibility in creating a recording of accompaniment or performance songs from an instrument. Editing capabilities have been expanded to accelerate the editing process to modify notes, tone changes, copy or delete measures or notes and correct timing discrepancies while still at the instrument.
Transposer
For all those who need a change in the key that a song is written in or recorded so that vocalists or instrumentalists can join in, nothing has been more useful than the transposer function that can move up or down several notes and even octave changes. This function needs to be readily accessible allowing the user to push a button to quickly make the needed change. An accompanying function to make minute tuning adjustments of less than a half step up or down allows your instrument to blend in perfectly with other instruments.
